Diamonds worth millions stolen from Basel Fair
GENEVA (Commodity Online): Theft of four diamonds worth millions have cast a gloom in the venue of world's biggest watch and jewellery fair in the northern Swiss city of Basel.
The theft took place on Wednesday morning when unidentified perpetrators distracted an employee of a diamond trading firm and escaped with the precious diamonds. The thieves or the diamonds haven't been traced so far.The theft was carried out in a professional manner and there were four to five accomplices who diverted the attention of the employees in the stall.
