FMC grants approval for more commodity futures

MUMBAI: The Forward Markets Commission has recently granted approval for new contracts in V 797 kapas, rapeseed oil, mustard seed, coconut oil and copra to exchanges functioning in different parts of the country.
The details are National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX)- V797 kapas, contract months- February, March and April 2009. NBOT, Indore-soymeal, crude palm oil, rape seed, mustard expeller oil- July-December 2008 contracts. ROOE, New Delhi-rapeseed, mustard –August 2008 contracts.
Meerut Agri Commodity Exchange- Gur (July 2008) contract. Rajdhani Oil and Oilseeds-Gur (July 2008), Central India Commodity Exchange Ltd, Gwalior—Mustard seed (May 2008), First Commodity Exchange Ltd, Kochi—copra and coconut oil-August to November 2008 contracts.
