Hindustan Dorr-Oliver eyes nuclear power plants
MUMBAI (Commodity Online): Engineering and construction solutions provider, Hindustan Dorr-Oliver Ltd (BOM:509627) plans to foray into execution of nuclear power plants and allied activities.
The company’s board has decided to alter the objects clause of the memorandum of association to foray into new area of operations. The announcement was made after market hours on Tuesday, 2 February 2010.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 2 February 2010, gaining 4.34% compared with the Sensex's 7.45% fall. Hindustan Dorr-Oliver's net profit rose 93% to Rs 14.28 crore on a 67.9% rise in sales to Rs 209.45 crore in Q3 December 2009 over Q3 December 2008.
