India food price index rises to 14.55 percent
NEW DELHI (Commodity Online) : Food price index in India moved up to 14.55 percent for the week ended November 7 compared with last week’s 10.07 percent.
Official release by country’s Commerce ministry however said fuel price index dropped 1.51%, compared to a 7.20% increase a year ago.

The worst dry spell in nearly four decades and floods in parts of the country have hurt farm output and pushed up food prices.
The wholesale price index or WPI rose 1.34% year-on-year in October, faster than the 0.5% in September . A year earlier, the WPI inflation was 1.06%.
