India fuel price inflation stays at -6.2 percent
NEW DELHI (Commodity Online) : India’s annual inflation rate for primary articles and fuels remained at minus 6.2 percent, according to Commerce and Industry Ministry.
The ministry did not release normal weekly wholesale price index on Thursday and said it would now release that data monthly from Nov. 12.

Based on the new guidelines on disclosing the official wholesale price index, India's annual rate of inflation declined 0.1 per cent during the week ending October 24.
Last week, the wholesale price inflation was 1.51 percent in the 12 months to Oct. 17.
The annual inflation rate for food articles was sharply higher at 13.39 percent for the week under review.
Similarly, the annual rise in the index for pulses was 23.44 percent and that for cereals was 11.15 percent. The meat, eggs and poultry index rose 25 percent.
