LME Copper advances 0.82% to $8590 a metric ton

LONDON (Commodity Online): London Metal Exchange base metal prices showed a mixed trend on last week. LME copper advanced 0.82% to $8590 a metric ton on Friday. Except copper, lead, tin and zinc all other base metal prices futures heading in negative direction.


LME Price Highlights:


--Aluminium Alloy dipped 0.91% to $2160 a metric ton


--Aluminium dipped 0.62% to $2218 per metric ton


--Copper gained 0.82% to $8590 a metric ton


--Lead gained 1.26% to $2168 per metric ton


--Nickel slipped 1.49% to $21025 a metric ton


--Tin gained 1.35% to $25495 per metric ton


--Zinc advanced 0.238% to $2112 a metric ton


--Steel dipped 0.31% to $474.5 per metric ton


The LME metal prices in US $ per metric tonne as on February 10, 2011. The figures in brackets refer to prices that prevailed on the previous day.
