NCDEX Soya Bean futures negative zone

The NCDEX Soya Bean futures ended in a negative zone today, tracking weak global cues. The Jun 08 contract closed at 2335.5 Rs/Quintal, after trading as low as 2320 Rs/Quintal. The contract pared Rs 14 or 0.60 percent during the session and dropped 14.79 percent in the open interest, which stood at 52410 lots as against 61510 lots yesterday.

The current retreat is seen as pullback from the previous week’s highs and may extend further in the next few days as traders are likely to focus on June contract in totality now, after the expiry of the May series.

The Jul 08 contract closed at 2332 Rs/Quintal, after trading as low as 2320 Rs/Quintal. The contract pulled lower by Rs 9 or0.38 percent during the session and added 17.48 percent in the open interest, which stood at 27890 lots as against 23740 lots yesterday.
