NSFCMi to launch India operations in food safety
Commodity Online GURGAON: NSF-CMi, the leading food safety assurance company, is set to launch operations in India to meet the increasing demand in the region for independent certification. The Indian business entity NSF Safety and Certifications India Private Limited will provide support services to food, water and consumer goods industries across India. NSF-CMi opened its regional headquarters for Asia–Pacific in Bangkok last year.
The move is a strategic response to the region’s fast growing needs for food safety and standards and will provide it’s customers services to meet global regulatory requirements and best practices, according to a press release.
NSF-CMi is already a well known certifier for Fresh Produce, Chicken, and other products across Asia exported to US, UK and Europe.
This new development will enable the company to serve the customers in the Indian subcontinent effectively and also support companies who would like to scale up to international standards to expand their business across the globe.
