NTPC to provide O&M services in Bangladesh
NEW DELHI(Commodity Online): National Thermal Power Corporation (BSE: NTPC : 532555, NSE: NTPC) has entered the overseas Operation and Maintenance service (O&M services) with the Rs 43 crore contract in Bangladesh.
"Notice of Award (NOA) has been received for operation and maintenance services for 2x120-MW gas-based Siddhirganj Peaking Power Plant (SPPP-A) from Electricity Generation Company of Bangladesh Ltd (EGCB)," said NTPC; reported The Business Standard.
NTPC will sign the contract in Dhaka this month.The contract is worth $8.8 million (Rs 43 crore).
The company also offers engineering and project management consultancy services.
NTPC Limited is the largest state-owned power generating company in India.
