NEW DELHI (Commodity Online): The state run NTPC Limited (formerly National Thermal Power Corporation) (BSE:NTPC : 532555, NSE : NTPC), plans to increase the production capacity to 1,28,000 MW by 2032 from current 35,000 MW.
Currently, the company is working on projects projects with a cumulative capacity of 40,000MW and it is on various satges of implementation.
“NTPC looks forward to the suggestions of employees for incorporating better policies and systems of the company,”said Mr Arup Roy Choudhury, chairman and Managing Director, NTPC in an address to NTPC employees on the occasion of the 36th Raising Day of the company.
NTPC is the largest state-owned power generating company in India.
On BSE, the company is trading down 0.86% or Rs 1.55 touching Rs 178 on Tuesday at 14:00 IST.
