NTPC’s Kahalgaon project IInd phase starts

MUMBAI: National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Ltd said on Tuesday that the second 500 MW of Kahalgaon Super Thermal Power Project - Stage II will commence commercial operation from Tuesday, December 30.

With the commercial operation of this unit, the capacity of Kahalgaon Super Thermal Power Project would be 1,840 MW.
