PEC floats tender to import Canadian yellow peas

NEW DELHI (Commodity Online): India state run trading firm PEC Ltd has floated tender, inviting bids to import 25000 tonnes of yellow peas from Canada.

The bids will close on March 16 and a decision on the tenders will be taken by March 23, PEC said on its website.

Bidders should source yellow peas, which were grown in the current year, from Canada and the shipment should reach Mumbai port by April, it added.
