Satellite images to guide farmers to improve harvest
JERUSALEM (Commodity Online): The satellite images may help farmers across the globe to improve the harvest with the new method developed by the scientists in Israel.
According to scientists, the new method divides the fields into smaller microclimates that guide farmers instead of analysis a large area, Reuters reported.
This system guides the farmers, when to plant seeds, to spray pesticides and even which crop is most suitable for the particular plot.
The new method once implemented, help the farmers in various ways like using fertilizers at the right time in right quantity which helps to improve the harvest.
This system is said to provide a solution to the growing food security issues in the world.
