HOUSTON, TEXAS (Commodity Online): Scrap Monster , leading provider of information, pricing and B2B services for scrap recycling industry, has announced the acquisition of Scrapmetalsandplastics.com and its twelve domains from its promoter, Greg Winski based in Texas for an undisclosed amount.

“We are pleased to announce this purchase, and excited to have Mr. Winski join our team. This acquisition will further increase our market share and propel us to become the premier resource for the scrap industry” said Mr. Ploumis of Scrap Monster.

Presently, Winski will be concentrating on his trading activities and has entered into a joint venture with Mr. Paul Ploumis, President and owner of Scrap Monster, based out of Montreal, Canada.

Greg Winski is the 5th generation Scrap Industry executive with 46 years experience in all phases of the Scrap Industry. He has specialized and is an expert in Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals, including but not limited to High Temperature Scrap, Plastic, E-Scrap, Scrap Tires, Shingles, off grade and hard to move materials. Mr. Winski was introduced into the family business, formerly known as Northern Indiana Steel Supply Co, Inc. based in Michigan City, Indiana at the age of 14, learning how to identify, segregate and upgrade Non-Ferrous Metals.
