Special trading on NSE, BSE: Metal stocks gain
MUMBAI (Commodity Online): A special 90-minute trading session, arranged to enable National Stock Exchange (NSE) test an upgraded trading system saw increased buoyancy in metals and oil & gas stocks.
The key benchmark index, Sensex traded with strong note at 15,913.53 points up by 0.73% from its Friday’s close. All sectoral indices were trading in the green. Strong buying interest was seen in realty, metal and oil & gas stocks.

Metals gainers included Hindalco Ltd (BOM:500440) rose by 1.88% at Rs.140.70, while Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd (BOM:512579) gained by over 2% to Rs.74.55.
The country's top two stock markets had a special 90-minute trading session on Saturday, 6th February, 2010 to enable the National Stock Exchange test an upgraded trading system, the NSE and the Bombay Stock Exchange said on their websites.
