NEW YORK (Commodity Online): Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL), was very unhappy with Android (owned by Google), in fact too unhappy that he wanted to destroy it with all he had, or so says his biography due for release on October 24, 2012.
Associated Press obtained an advanced copy of the book. On speaking to his biographer Walter Isaacson, Steve jobs says- “ I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will spend every penny of Apple's $40 billion in the bank, to right this wrong. I'm going to destroy Android, because it's a stolen product. I'm willing to go thermonuclear war on this”
Steve Jobs' disdain for Android is quite well known in that he strongly believed Android was a rip off of the Apple iOS. Google's Android is currently the most widely used smartphone operating system.
