Turmeric futures trades in loss
The Turmeric futures are trading with loss in the opening sessions. The NCDEX Turmeric futures benchmark June contract drifted lower to the session’s low of Rs3895 from the opening high of Rs3980 per quintal.
The counter currently trading with loss at Rs3904, down Rs31 per quintal and the open interest in the contract dropped 0.21%, which stood at 23,660 lots as against 23,710 lots on last day, indicating profit taking. The contract was technically in the over bought zone, the counter witnessed correction in the last trading sessions also.
