NEW YORK (Commodity Online): U.S soybean exports for 2011-12 marketing year had lagged 27% as China and other buyers cut back purchases on global economic slowdown, USDA report.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export summary, the foreign sale for the week ending January 2012 rose to about 95% from the previous four-week average.
Meanwhile, the corn exports were lower to 15.3 million metric tons since Sept. 1 compared to 15.6 million metric tons the year before.
