Uzbekistan resumes gas supply to Kyrgyzstan
Uzbekistan on Thursday agreed to resume gas supplies to neighboring Kyrgyzstan.
On September 24, Uzbekistan, which is the sole gas exporter to the former Soviet republic, shut off supplies to southern Kyrgyzstan and decreased deliveries to the north of the country over debts of $18.8 million.

At talks, the two sides agreed that Kyrgyzstan, which has paid off $4.6 million of its debt, would make 100% advance payments three times a month.
