NEW YORK (Commodity Online): The World Food Association Organisation (WFAO) has started purchasing huge tracts of pre-existing rice farms in Thailand as a part of new rice farm initiative.
The new rice farm initiative is being handled by Mr. Henry Oliver Ford.
Henry Oliver Ford says, "The Rice Industry has enormous potential in consumption and biofuels technology."
According to Mr. Henry Oliver Ford, the farms are self-sustaining and produce more than 20 different strands of rice. The farms are operated by local villagers.
“World Food has noticed that the investors from China and Russia seem to have an insatiable appetite for food control.” said Ford.
As the global economy weakens and the population continues to abound, most government leaders are more apt to procure ownership stakes in produces and livestock of all kinds.
