Based on the latest notifications regarding the new budget, small farmers and Agri traders will be benefitted from the same as it would be supportive to the farmers and agricultural sector in various ways.
Agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar said the overall allocation for the agricultural sector has been made to increase to around Rs.1.25 lakh crore for the financial year 2023-24.
He further said that small farmers would be benefitted from the new budget as the new policies would be more supportive than the previous budget and as the sector would be technologically supported.
One of the many important provisions that are said to be supportive to the farmers is the increased farm credit to Rs.20 lakh crore for the coming fiscal. However, further notifications are to be disclosed.
