Members of the International Coffee Organization (ICO) exported 10.937 million 60-kg bags of coffee in June 2019, up 2.8% from 10.638 million in the same month last year, ICO data showed.

Exports in the first 9 months of coffee year 2018/19 (Oct/18 to June/19) have increased by 6.5% to 97.28 million bags compared to 91.34 million bags in the same period in 2017/18.

In the twelve months ending June 2019, exports of Arabica totalled 82 million bags compared to 75.38 million bags last year; whereas Robusta exports amounted to 46.11 million bags compared to 44.78 million bags.

According to ICO data, India exported 514000 60kg bags of coffee in June, declined 13.1% from 591000 bags in the same month last year.

India's coffee exports during October to June of 2018-19 Coffee Year totalled 4.68 million tonnes, down 9.2% from 5.162 million tonnes in the corresponding period last year.
