India's edible oil stocks as on 1st July, 2019 at various ports is estimated at 750,000 tonnes (CPO 300,000 tonnes, RBD Palmolein 230,000 tonnes, Degummed Soybean Oil 80,000 tonnes and Crude Sunflower Oil 140,000 tonnes) and about 1.4 million tonnes in Pipelines, according to latest data from the Solvent Extractors' Association of India (SEA).

Total stocks at ports and pipelines is reported at 2.15 million tonnes, decreased by 50000 tonnes from 2.2 million tonnes as on 1st June 2019.

India's monthly requirement is about 1.9 million tonnes and operate at 30 days stock against which currently holding stock over 2.15 million tonnes equal to 34 days requirements against 2.518 million tonnes as on 1st July, 2018.
