Indonesia's palm oil production reached 34.7 million tonnes in the first eight months of 2019, rose 14% from the corresponding period last year, according to latest data from Indonesian palm oil association (GAPKI).

Production in August recorded at 4.7 million tonnes, rose 8.7% from 4.317 million tonnes in the same month last year.

The country shipped 22.7 million tonnes of palm oil during January-August 2019, up 3.8% year-on-year.

Palm Oil exports in August recorded at 2.89 million tonnes, down from 2.9 million tonnes a month earlier.

Indonesia's palm oil stocks at the end of August reported at 3.8 million tonnes, rose from 3.5 million tonnes in July.
