Indonesia's palm oil exports hit 2.92 million tonnes in July, 15.87% higher than the previous month as China jacked up demand during the month, according to the latest Indonesian Palm Oil Producers Association (Gapki) data.

Production rose 8.5 percent month-on-month to 4.31 million tonnes in July this year and up 0.7 percent year-on-year.

Domestic consumption reached 1.43 million tonnes in July, marginally higher by 0.3 percent month-on-month and higher by 42.2% compared to the same month last year.

Palm oil stocks at the end of July recorded at 3.51 million tonnes, down from 3.55 million tonnes in June 2019.
